Because the Isle of Wight has such an amazing diversity of attractions, we thought that you may like to see proof of them.  By clicking on any of the logos or names below, will take you straight to their websites (make sure you bookmark us so you can come back!)

Here at Freshwater Fruit Farm we are committed to caring for the unique environment that is the Isle of Wight and this is why we are supporting Gift to Nature.  For every £1 you donate, we will donate the same. To find out more, visit their website http://www.gifttonature.co.uk/ or click the link below

We are lucky enough to have red squirrels on the Island, and so feel grateful that at Freshwater Fruit Farm we have our own healthy colony of them, with up to 5 being seen at one time - although despite their cute and cuddly image, they actually don't like each other much so tend to chase each other around and off their patch!  John and Brenda are pleased to be able to work with Helen Butler, the Island's leading red squirrel expert in offering talks on red squirrels.  As well as this, Helen also gives tutoring in painting.  For more details, please visit the Wight Squirrel Project's website by clicking here!  If you would like to help the plight of the red squirrels on the Island, why not 'sponsor a squirrel'?!  Visit the Red Squirrel Trust's website (link on the right) or click here.

Blackgang Chine is thought to be the oldest theme park in the country, and with the chance for you to visit the Dinosaur Land, Fairytale Castle, Wild West, Weather Wizard, Adventure Land and so much more, it is well worth a visit!  http://www.blackgangchine.com

Robin Hill is a country park, set in 40 acres of ground, and is great for children (and adults!) to run about and burn off some energy.  There are various attractions such as The Time Machine Motion Ride, Colossus Thrill Ride, Toboggan Run Ride and over 20 other attractions!  http://www.robin-hill.com/

The colourful cliffs that make Alum Bay and the Needles such an a tourist attraction, also have a lot more too offer, including a glass museum, fun fair, chair lift down to the beach and, more importantly, back up again!  http://www.theneedles.co.uk/

Carisbrooke Castle, Yarmouth Castle, Osborne House and Appuldurcombe House are just four of the sites managed by English Heritage on the Island.  For more information, please visit http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/ and http://www.appuldurcombe.co.uk

If you want to see what is happening in the news over here, why not visit our local paper (The Isle of Wight County Press) online?  It features weather reports, local news, jobs and property.  http://www.iwcp.co.uk/

The Isle of Wight Council also has a website featuring everything from weather forecasts to local news, forums and information on forthcoming events.  For the IW Council visit www.iwight.gov.uk which has been judged as one of the best in the UK - complete with forums, weather and other local information it is hardly surprising that it has been rated highly.

For a visit to the local sports centre, please visit West Wight Sports Centre!
