How to find us

This map shows how to reach us from the Lymington - Yarmouth Ferry (Wightlink).  Below you will also find some written instructions, we advise that you print them out for your journey!  Just follow the red line, it starts at the ferry terminal, and ends at where you shall be staying.

Drive off the ferry, in about 200 metres there is a roundabout, take the left turning, the sign says Newport A3054.

Drive along this road for 0.8 mile, turn right. Just before turning right a sign shows the road as B3041 and says Thorley.

Drive along this road and keep on it, do NOT turn for Thorley.

Freshwater Fruit Farm is 2.1 miles from the turn right off of the Yarmouth road.

Look out for the trees, which will have been on both sides of the road. Just before the end of trees on both sides you will see further up the road that there are hedges on both sides of the road, slow down because you are just about here!

The entrance to our drive is on your left and has a public footpath sign (there is also one opposite). The sign is green and says F27, Calbourne Road The Downs. The footpath doesn’t go down our drive but along the southern boundary. Drive down the driveway until you see the house on your right and someone will show you to your caravan.

Just past our entrance there is a bungalow, also on the left, this lays back off the road about 30 metres. If you get this far you have overshot our drive by about 30 metres. If so either reverse back, or carry on up to the top of the road – slightly less than one quarter of a mile, turn round at the junction and then our drive will be on the right.

FROM FISHBOURNE OR EAST COWES FERRY.

Drive to Newport either from Fishbourne or East Cowes. Coming into Newport you will need to be in the left hand lane, the sign will say Town Centre and Sandown. There are several sets of traffic lights. Keep to the left lane, this will take you past a large building on the right (Chicago Rock Cafe, Pizza Hut and Cineworld, a multi-screen cinema).

Soon after this will be a roundabout, turn right, for Town Centre and Carisbrooke Castle, keep to this road, following signs that point to Carisbrooke and West Wight.

There are several other ways to get to the road which leads to Freshwater, I have given directions which I think will be easiest to anyone not knowing the way.

When on the Freshwater Road, drive for about 9. 3 miles. There’s a sign pointing right to Yarmouth, (B3054), this is Wilmingham Lane, turn right here, our drive is about 400 metres down here on the right, just past a bungalow (also on the right).
